To optimise the number of construction points we get per 60$ spent, we need to let our best builder(s) do the actual work.
The best way is to pool the money we give to building into the town treasury, and our current best builder(s) can use that money to build with.
There are 2 advantages pooling that way:
- Everyone can contribute whatever cash they want, not necessarily in multiples of 60$.
- There seem to be a small bonus to longer construction periods, therefore our builder(s) can concentrate on doing 2 hours assignments (unless a building is close to maximum and it does not need that long to finish the task).
If you want to try building some yourself (to check your current building rate), you need to select the Town Hall as building to construct and invest 60$ (please do not use money from the town treasury for this purpose unless you are a selected builder) for a minimum construction duration, then copy the report of your construction as reply to this thread.
Do not use another building for your test, since the number of labor point (and therefore construction points) vary depending the building.
Builder(s) still need to take this test periodically in the same conditions (it is important that it is done at 100% motivation) as reference, but will use the Treasury money for their test.
For every 60$ paid it is possible to build for 30 minutes.
The amount of building points achieved per period of 30 minutes depends upon your class, your stats, and your equipment.
With same stats and equipment, a builder (as class) would have a 20% bonus.
I also found that for me, equipping a hammer while building gives me 1 extra construction point, compared with the same equipment without the hammer.
It is possible that some other items may have such hidden construction bonus, even though the game website states that equipped product have no effect (which I verified to be incorrect).
If you find such, please post it as reply here and I will add it to this main post.
Once the Town Hall is maxed, I will need to decide a new test.
Storch also mentioned a formula, which might work even if it does not include all possible parameters (we are looking into it).
